Shocking…

Today, 19 July 2009 made itself to my one of the most ‘memorable days’. Many things be it good or bad incidents both of them occur on that same day.

As i return from my trip, it was 18th that time, met a familiar face that meeting him would be a bit awkward. Then the person who is fetching him share the same fate as him. Meeting them two at the station really seem awkward. Is a long story anyways.

Second is the news related to my university friends. Two of them involved in an accident which resulted in quite a minor injuries for both of them. Nevertheless, at anytime it could be fatal as their accident occurred at a road which almost consider a highway.

Near midnight the motorbike they are riding collided with another bike which seemingly turning left only to turn the other way at the last minute. No other choice so my friend embraced himself and collide with him. After that, my friend’s bike scratch a nearby car only to slide across the road leaving both my friends behind. Quickly, both of them drag themselves to safety from any fast moving vehicles that might passed them or knocked them. As it was midnight so most car will be speeding.

Thanks to that, they got scratches here and there and nothing serious like broken bones or worse like losing a limb or the worst, death! What is more surprising is that the friend who are suppose to fetch me from the station informed me that an accident occur and we passed by!! And it was them!! If we only stopped and have looked. Things might be different then.

Thirdly, i was shocked by a news informed by a friend concerning someone and someone..haha so is more like a gossip with a confidence..to me it is a very surprising and shocking news…to think that two…but who am i to judge right? if it is the will of GOD so be it…still, it is shocking!!

Lastly, went for dinner, just right in front of me, a girl carrying an ordered food which i believed to be soup noodle slipped..i can still see the process projecting in my head in slow-mo…i feel sorry for her…luckily she is not hurt…and after awhile she continue delivering food to customers…well, Life Goes On™ right?

After the dinner he joked, “Maybe is you who is ‘soi’  (unlucky)?” Am i…maybe so…i got that quite a few times…when things around me just go hay-wire and not they way it supposed to be…and i am just like a spectator watching the event…anything that happen happens…nothing to do with me…

Life is full of myseries, things sometimes cannot be explained but happen…we just sometimes have to accept it and move on…dont dwell on it as it will pull you back…but learned from it so that it wont happen again for the bad things and be more better for the good things…still, all the things happen shocked me…so i pen this down to remind myself…SHOCKING!!

The Change…Which one represent you?

Life can be challenging sometimes…or most of the times, or every agonizing minutes of your life is challenging or none at all, be it whichever, it will change someone…that is life for you

Even though i used the word change, it could also mean unchanged…why people change in the first place then…to adapt to survive any ordeal that is hindering them from going forward…sometimes for the better or otherwise

So, let me illustrate life as a boiling water…treacherous, unforgiving, and down right unpleasing…and 3 groups of ‘people’ are to go through this ‘life’

First is the ‘carrot’ people…tough and strong at first…immovable as the mountain…but once being boiled, it get soggy…soft and ‘lembik’

Second is ‘egg’ people…fragile in the beginning…too easy to be broken and hurt…but once boiled…became an opposite…hardened and deadly if thrown at someone’s head >.<

Lastly, ’coffee’ people…have that strong aura(aroma) that fills the room…even boiled…that aura does not change

So…as the title speak for itself…which is you?

MUNDANE LIFE

It surprises me when i see people patronize the train station, all dress up and ready to work. Working gives me another new perspective to life itself...being a student, he have our mind set on teenagers and grown-ups...now having a working life myself gives me a fresh new look towards teenagers and grown-ups...

Just to keep my blog alive, i have to write something so i start with what attracts my attention...that is ppl!! working people that is...work is not all fun i can say that...also depending on what you are working...as for me, my work is mundane and dull...having to do the same thing over and over again makes me wonder...what makes all of us tick?

If working is mundane, what about life itself? we wake up, eat, clean ourself (which ever that comes first >.<) work for grown-ups and school for the young, lunch, work some more for 'old people', tuition for young people, rest, dinner, doing something before bed. And guess what, it repeats all over!!

But we keep on moving...because not everyday is the same ^^, even the 'path' is the same, the events or happening wont be...for example, we clean ourself...sure we do that...who knows one day you fall down and hurt your.....well, is different right? compare to the other days...at least it will make that day a memorable day...lolz

So to break the cycle of boresville, try to do something extraordinary for that day...dont wait for it to come...it will only happen on chances...but if you seek it yourself, it definitely will make your life more meaningful than doing those things i just mention...so just step out and do something...whenever there is a opportunity...dont be afraid of the outcome...if not...back to your zombie lifestyle....

Life is meaningful if you make it meaningul, life is boring when you do boring stuff, life is exciting when you do challenging things, in conclusion, life is what you want it to be...be strong and be positive...the only time when you cant do something is when you admit you cant...

Its too late…sometimes

Many people don’t get it…sometimes saying sorry is just not enough…not everything can be revert back with sorry and apologies…

Ever heard of spilled milk? once is spilled there is nothing can be done…sorry wont help…the only thing is clean it up…

Be quick to listen, slow to speak…one of the golden rules to have a better life…by biting your tongue, you will be less to hurt people and thus reducing yourself to say sorry which sometimes is not the magic word to settle the matter…

So why take the chances when you can avoid everything just be slow to speak…think twice before anything come out of your mouth, be it words or saliva…lol! before is too late…

Gmail…I salute you!!

This post is meant for those people behind google…you have out-done yourself…especially gmail…all that is free but you never gave it half-heartedly…

untitled

This is the background behind the email…i just LOVE the theme…especially this one…although there are more to try out but i am very satisfied with this…is not just this pic…everyday i see new background….as if i am seeing my email through the Hubble Telescope…as it rotate, i can see whatever is in my sight in space…through its lens

Again…good job and well done!!

Rain…why art thou forsaken us?

Oh my…is it hot here or is it just me? A familiar phrase to praise oneself, this time is really hot hOT HOT!!!

It hasn’t been raining…and even few scatter of raindrops couldn't  reduce this intense heat we are feeling now…

I guess hot season is sweeping the area or it is just  mother nature showing her regrets on us…we abuse her when she is young, we ignore her when she is crying, and now when she ignore us, we are dying…

If only life were so simple that we can roam freely around nature, feeling the gentle breeze caressing our face, gently brushing our hair, gives us the warmth from the sun and the panoramic scenes, instead of hiding inside man-made walls.

As the weather gets hotter, we reduce the temperature of air-conditioning to create a comfortable environment…if he have one…if not fan will do to create artificial wind…and i dare say non of that can compete with nature…even on a hot day, sitting or standing under a tree can actually significantly reduce the ‘hot-ness’…and its FREE!!!

Sadly…the world cant see that…and we have to pay the price…the expensive one just to benefit a few…but sacrifice the many…THATS LIFE!! LIVE WITH IT!!

BGR

i have lost track of my last post…guess hectic coupled with mundane life causes me to be lazy…even to post a blog.

Recently…actually, very much recent, something had happen…although that person claim to accidentally blurted it out…which i am doubtful ( >.< ) cause it was typed out…it gave me this motivation to write about something i should have written long time ago in Bethlehem…

As the title writes BGR, i don't know whether it is used widely, i first heard it in my hometown…which basically stands for boy-girl relationship

I have seen people get together, broke up, and patched things up…only to be broken again…which got me to think is that why the same cycle? To me, if you broke up with someone, it was suppose not to be patched…or maybe one last chance and that’s it…

The other situation is couple with this person, breaks and then next…was like auditioning for something…maybe in search for Mr. Right..

So my question to you is that what is this relationship to you? To promote that you actually have someone? Or being challenge or motivated to have one for the sake of having one?  Or being desperate?

Sadly, that’s what most people think…and i read a book title “Boy Meets Girl” or something like that (sorry), it clearly define the meaning of dating and courtship…which one are you?

To have a relationship with an opposite gender marks the era of your life that you want to be committed and true to something…that is your relationship with that special person…the special person…and is not like oh man…i like that guy…i’m gonna date him…and then resulted in…ah….he’s not the one…

Why we go and have a relationship blindly? Is it that difficult to actually work your way up towards having a relationship? And the most important thing is that what is your motive(s)? Goals in the relationship? The books says that courtship is a process for you to get to know that person before marriage…meaning that one time dating is enough…you don’t hurt yourself, you don’t hurt other people in the process..

My advice is that, prepare yourself first before jumping into the water…again, life is not predictable so anything can happen…as long as you are prepared, and you can swim, you can get out of the water safely…Love with knowledge and make sure he is your Mr Right, not Mr Right Now…

Best of luck!

Mr Lonely...

Have you ever wish to be alone sometimes? Wish that everyone around you just vanish? That they will just leave you alone...just you and your world...sound nice doesnt it?

And what if what you wish for actually come true? Can you leave with it? Going through life alone...no pain to share...no joy to share...

I am writing this post is to remind myself what had happened...i do wish for it...a world of my own...my worries my problem...

It was good but for a moment...we are not meant to live alone...from 'wishing' to be alone...i end up being lonely...know the difference in them...we normally want to be alone...but no one wants to be lonely...

I suffer my one year being alone which ended up being lonely...it was painful but educational at the same time...being alone most of the time create a moment for you to think...to wonder about anything related to you or your surrounding...

Nah....i have friends around me....yeah you!! We join certain group of 'ppl' that we call friends maybe due to certain circumstances or having several common grounds...but do we feel belong? We yearn for acknowledgment...

I have several friends encountering this problem...being used by friends...since they know...why bother be friend those ppl? The answer is that we dont want to be alone...is it worth it? Only those ppl encountering this situation know best...

It pains me to see someone alone...cos i understand their pain as i am a loner myself...but i am no GOD...can touch everyone...i am not strong enough to go through life alone...i came alone and i will go alone...there is no reason i have to live alone...no man is an island!!
aA
Although i am bless with wonderful ppl around me...sadly i still feel the loneliness...may it be my fault or not...it doesnt matter...i am thankful...still...wont it be better if it wasnt all that?

Continuation

Almost forgot...addition post for career fair

For that four days...just want to share that all hardwork will pay off with a little of appreciation...the easiest appreciation is a thank you couple with a smile...

Wah!!...what a feeling...all those hardwork of carrying and cursing when we are ask to do this and that by other members were really paid off at the last day...or whenever they leave the fair...a quick chat with them when sending them off...with them thanking and giving gratitude for our hardwork...smiles all around and giving us 'goodbye' gifts...all those cursing just melted away...

We all need appreciation...no matter how is given...a little goes a long way...appreciate more to those around you...it doesnt matter if you mean it or not...just like us...who knows in front of us they smile and thank us...behind they curse us...we never know...but during that time...it change a lot...gave us the motivation to do more...

Is it that difficult to say thank you to others once a while?

Career Fair...

My Uni had organised an event for undergraduates, namely those final year undergraduates to give them a chance to seek a certain company to fill in the job vacant at that company...what is it? Career Fair 2009.

Yesterday was the last day for Career Fair. It was one of the main events of the year...beside convocation. During this 4 days, i was given a chance to participate in this mega-event as a crew under the technical group. Most of the crew consisted of my classmates so we enjoy each other companies during the fair.

After expose to PC fair as a technician and now also as technician in Career Fair, i can deduce that technician is a name to cover up our main job...a 'carrier'...haha whatever they need we carry, whatever they want we find and carry to them, almost all problems they come to find us.

It was an agonizing four days as we have to carry chairs and tables but it was a memorable and fruitful experience...during that time, we get to do 'favours' for the companies when they are asking for chairs and tables and also some mineral waters...in return we grab this opportunity to get close to them and ask about they purpose here and about the companies. Four days of seeing the same people, not knowing them is a pity...

So we be friended most of the HR who were taking care of the booth, and get more closed to the other HR where the companies are related to our field of study...*bias* but nobody wants to do things that are not benefitial to them right?

Only one particular booth we are so closed to that we share contacts with them...maybe due to the same age...as they are undegraduates also like us doing internship by going to career fairs of other universities...it was fun while it lasted...can share their life with ours...comparing universities regulation and stuff...haha

All in all, in a nutshell, try to get up from that comfortable chair and room and try out something...everyday is a new experience...experience only come if you go...is that simple...
Our life is not static but dynamic...be more out-going and you will discover many things that you missed...

Enjoy and have fun...you only got one chance to live this lifetime...make full use of it...and oh...do it in group because alone you go fast...but together you can go far!!

Have you ever notice...

Have you ever notice that your brain works like a battery? An everlasting battery self-powered and usually has an average lifespan of 60 years?

Our brain not only store data (as claimed ^_^) but also power our body such as our five senses and others...what i want to talk about is that most might notice it but never really give much thought into it...well i did and i want to share something about it...

Were you told that blind people have more sensitive touch and hearing? How was that possible? I believe that most of our brain has special 'quota' for each sensory department...and i believe the sight uses the most 'electricity' from the brain...LOL

Well...think about it...lets talk about our five senses...sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell...the most important of all is sight...so naturally it uses the most capacity from the brain...and when we close our eyes...we are practically minimizing the usage of the brain and thus have more 'electricity' for the other senses...

Try eating your favourite food with open eyes and closed eyes...any different?
Try touching the same way...hear...smell...

This is what i believe...there might be article about this so i am not sure but i am writing this based on my own experience and no reference is done. Try it...the best way to concentrate is to close your eyes and give more juice from the brain to other part of your body...and of course sleep...we CLOSE our eyes...DUH~

Trying Something New...

After looking through my own blog i notice i really know how to write...not by the means of using beautiful and bombastic words but lots and lots of words...haha

Those who like to read may find it amusing but the rest might be lazy so i am trying a new approach...still embryonic stage...but lets give it a chance and see of it will grow to what i hope for...which is to write shorter blogs about everyday experience and stuff...

Happy Reading!!!

Tis The Season

Is the time of year again where friends share your problem...vice versa...what is it you might ask? December has past so is not Xmas...Cny is over...so what is it? Exam week?

Almost...although the place i am right now is having test...this time of year...due to the extreme heat...most have fallen fighting against sore throat, flu, fever and worse of all...the combo of the three...

All it takes is for a person to get sick first...then the infestation will manifest in such a rate that it shame the multiplication of bunnies...as cartoon used to indicate...haha

Because of exam week...we will gather at one's room to seek for help and guidance...and if that sick fellow stroll around the room...the chances is there...and there goes the neighbourhood...

Well...is part and parcel of nature...we get sick...we get better...our immunity increases and the cycle goes on...

Nevertheless...just to wish all out there Get Well Soon!!

Family or Friends First?

Do you ever ask yourself...who do you prefer 'more'? Family or friends? Cant decide? In a dilemma of choosing? Sometimes family other times friends?

Just sit down and think back...things you had done...things you will be doing...

If you face a certain problem...who do you turn to?
If you need solution...who?
If you need advice?

If you need money?
Need a car?
Need a computer?

Think about it sometimes...the way we treated both family and friends...it just pain me to see that majority will choose friends over family...Family, or parents are only 'needed' in material aspect...apart from that we normally turn to friends...

If you are still in a dilemma...how about this...if friends ask you out for something...gathering, party and so forth...and on the same day your family wants to have a nice dinner outside...which one do you choose?

I dont need your answer...you just ponder on that question and the answer you will give...i was once a friends first family second...but all i want is to say is this:

friends you can find anyone, anywhere, anytime...as for family...you are born with...is either them or no one else...friends come and go...family will be there till the end...start to appreciate what you have before is too late!!

Is Been Awhile since i pen my thoughts and experience...due to inevitable circumstances from known assailant...this scenario only degenerate my will to write as it will overload my 'seat of the faculty of intelligence and reason'.

Before i continue my writing spree...i would sincerely ask my readers what they anticipate from this blog...any suggestion to my blog and my writing...the good and the bad...

Happy 'Niu' Year

This year belong to those who are born in the year of the Ox according to the Lunar Calendar...many good fortunes and prosperity and good health will be fallen to those born in this year...

Another year had past...so what is your new year resolution? I read one statement... a resolution is something you keep for only one year...throw it away when next year arrived and have a new one...lol

This time i have the chance to see fireworks from my house compound...same old same old as every year...the only different is that this time im going to write about it...well...

To begin with...of course i was waiting for the clock to strike midnight but i guess there were those itchy hands that cannot wait and have a blast...and a chain reaction occurs...what the heck...they start first...might as well we go for it too...that might be what those ppl were thinking when the first blast was heard...

If not mistaken the first fireworks were lit 10 minutes before midnight and there goes the neighbourhood...it was like a competition...see who can make the loudest and most spectacular fireworks...one after the other...those enthusiasts even after warning from the police about illegal blasting...the warning cannot suppress the Chinese custom that had been past from generation to generation...dating back to the Chinese Dynasties...

As the time past...almost midnight...night turned to day...with the spectacular fireworks blasting in the sky...emitting various colours lighting up the night sky as a symbol to scare of ghosts and evil spirit away from their house...bright shinning colours were seen through out the sky...

The view was magnificient...with the 'bom bom bom' and the 'piu piu piu' sound made by the fireworks...i enjoyed every second of it...although it was a shame that the alley im in the enthusiast is no longer around...so i cannot have the chance to watch those children play with those crackers and 'bunga api'...

Surprisingly...even after 30 minutes...it was still on going...but of course it slowed down...but my alley stopped...guess they run out of ammo...so i went back inside...prepare myself to sleep to regain strength for the first day of Chinese New Year...and the last firecracker was heard around 12.40 midnight...adding to the 10 minutes...the whole event lasted whopping 50 minutes !! My cousin claimed that that night it will last one hour but i guess it wasnt that far-fetched his claims...

It was interesting and exciting to watch fireworks...how chemist turn normal reaction to entertainment...it was impressive...i never got the chance to light those that shoot up the skies...maybe one day i hope...but still...even though it was nice to see it...perhaps it was even better when you are the one doing it? Only time will tell...

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR to those who are celebrating and HAPPY HOLIDAYS to the others...

Chinese And its Superstition Part 1

When we ask about Chinese custom...what comes to our mind will be Chinese Superstition or other words will be 'Pantang'

First and foremost, these superstitions may not be totally Chinese's just because i heard it from my mother or father...haha so bear in mind...as CNY is just around the corner, when i think about Chinese custom, well, pantang here and there...so as the celebration is near, it drives me to write something about it...

Part 1 means the first superstition i heard...is about sneezing...i am writing it now because i am sneezing myself...haha

One sneeze means you are cursed...or to put it a better way, someone is talking behind your back...mostly related to something bad...saying bad things about you for instance...

Two sneezes means someone is missing you...somewhere out there she or he is thinking about you...talking in her dreams, day-dreaming about you...so on and so forth

Bear in mind that this 'sneeze' is not because you are having a flu or been in a dirty and dusty room...if these sneezes come out of the blue...then 'faham-faham-lah'

And if you had 3 sneezes...maybe is a combination of a curse and a miss...if four...be prepare for a flu...haha dont dream of being missed two times...IN YOUR DREAM!!

The Scar Between the Nose and The Chin

Do you ever wonder what that scar between your nose and your chin? That scar is very different from other scars on your body...it seldom bleed when it is open...and mind you...can open at your own will!!

What is the function of one's mouth? The starting point where food is to be ingested...besides nose, a pathway for breathing, teeth sitting inside for chewing, tongue..err you use your imagination la...hahaha

All of the above are related to eating and breathing...we need them very much to stay alive...without them..we might as well be pronounce dead!!

Enough about eating and breathing...this is not my purpose...is about the wonders you can do with your mouth...and one of them is SMILING!!

Is it that hard to smile? Just a small curve at the end of both lips is sufficient...even a straight line shows something...an effort to smile brings a lot of different to the situation...unspoken message conveyed clearly with a smile...

The purpose of me writing this post has left my thoughts...AH-HA but still just one to let you all know that pls do smile once in awhile...not all the time 24/7 or else you will labeled as crazy person.

Seriously is it that hard to smile? Most of our life we encounter ppl...from offices to coffee shops, we are either served or serving ppl...both parties play a significant role to make the communication more pleasant...and the most efficient way is to smile...

For instance...someone you know is down...you come up to him...pat his shoulder and say "Dont worry about it...you can make it through"
And you do the same thing and you add a smile at the end...see the significant difference it will make to your friend...the second situation...with a smile it gives hope to your friend...seeing that you smile makes him less down...and seeing someone who actually understand his situation and not left alone

The most annoying thing is that you try your best to smile but you only get a sour face in return...most smile will get a smile in return...but dont fret yourself...you did your part...dont let the sour face turn you down...at least you smiled to him...not getting a smile should not be a reason for you not to smile to the next person you see...

Always apply the golden rule "Do to others what you want others do unto you" Make your day pleasant and spread the love and hope to others...this way wont we make the world a bit happy?

Fighting the Addiction

How is it that ppl cant seem to stop smoking? We curse them as we sit at the coffee shop as they sat there beside us puffing his lungs out for the sake of fashion? Or perhaps for those older the so called senior citizen a habit?

They know...i think...that smoking is bad. Not only to themselves but those around them. They have been told the consequences of smoking, how it will kill you...but still ppl smoke and and also increase in number...so why?

We are human...born with the gift to reason and think...we know what we are doing but still why do we do such thing? This addiction does not only apply to smoking only...it can be anything...stealing, gambling, this and that...even scolding bad words may turn out to be a habit that we cant seem to kick out of our system...

Ask them face to face...what are the consequences of the habit...they know!! I KNOW!! but nevertheless...no matter how much effort i put...i cant seem to stop myself with my self determination...so even i dont smoke...i know what it means by to stop an addiction one needs strong will and determination.

Addiction can be symbolize as drinking slurpee...or anything cold...the first sip is cold...but as you increase your frequency of sipping, you might end up getting a brainfreeze...and then here comes the pain...and tingling yet painful sensation you feel between your eyes and somewhere near the forehead...depending the person...so okay...you know the consequences...yet we still drink it...so the addiction situation is somehow similar to it...we know what will happen but we still do it due to some factors...

This post is not to teach you to fight it but just to remind you of your bad habits @ addiction...try your best to fight it if it is bad for you...ask friends or family to help get rid of it...it will help if there are someone encouraging you and help you suppress the addiction effect...if left untreated, it will consume you inside and outside... trust me...i know...cos i am an addict too!!! HELP ME!

Did Something Bad

Just now after having my supper with friends of mine...we did something bad...was funny but still not something to practice...

I wont say what is it or else this might be used against me as prove of my misbehave and even prosecute me...so to keep it a safe side i wont mention anything about it...just to remind myself and my friends what we have done

One thing i can say...i just prove my theory to them on local cars...and i have an advice to you who own malaysia's car...

ALWAYS LOCK YOUR CAR WITH CONTROL NOT KEYS!! -guess it was obvious after what i just said-

PS: No car was harm in the process!

A Prison Life

Cant believe it after all the hardship i have been through...to think that coming here to further my tertiary education only to shatter my hopes and dreams...

Uni life...we..err...i am showered with scenario of what campus life would be...strolling at the park during the afternoon under the shady tree...'picnicking' under the tree with friends while discussing about homework and stuff...having cool classrooms...more like lecture halls...looking 'down' on the lecturer while he talk nonsense and non-stop in front the board...while ppl around are sleeping or doing something...stuff like that...ahh...i can dream cant i?

Guess what...sorry lah...as the malaysian say...is all to good to be true...yes...there will be lecturers and yes...trees all around but none of what i mention was true...welcome to malaysian university....MIND YOU THIS ONLY APPLY TO MY UNI!!!

Rules and regulation is part and parcel of life...there is no such thing as no rule...then chaos will reign...but the rules and regulation here is just too much...i thougth that by coming here i can run from the secondary system and their rules...such as uniform, appearance and stuff like that...and to think to go 'overseas' into a new world and environment meeting new friends from all over malaysia...only to relive the same system? De Javu all over again...i was informed that colleges and uni should be less strict in this part...but to have long hair...err...stylish hair, fingernails stuff like that also get fined...i was speechless...

The only different from secondary is that the prefect is changed with guards...full grown man...and demerit system change to fines...they think we carry pot of gold? Fine us for no special reason...even matrix card not present on yourself...you are fine...what logic is that? you dont hang your ID card on your body and the police gives you fine for not obeying...do they?

Well...we live in a multi-racial country...but minority is still a minority...we dont have much say...if you know what i mean...to live in harmony we have to sacrifice even sometimes it hurts to do so...what to do? LIVE GOES ON!™ Studies, food, culture, and others even we are of all races and religion...we have to stick to one...and by saying so you know what i mean...i wont go furthur from here...

This post is not to bad-mouthed the uni and the system...just for me to lament and to enlighten those around me and ppl who read this about the things i am going through right now...i guess all those uni life only happen outside this country as the uni and the system is being chained by the laws of malaysia...so is not the uni's fault either...

Rules and regulation like i say is part and parcel of life...to take that away means chaos and destruction...so i wont say it rules to have no rules...but some are just pure nonsense...only to burden us...the ppl involve should really reconsider them...

In life we are normally taught not to only look at the bad side but also the benefit gain from what you encounter...one of them is the midnight rule...where everyone must be in campus before midnight or possibly receive 'love letter' from the uni...yes...it sux to have a curfew after we are now consider adults...young adults but the good side to it is that to me that is...if there is any activity outside campus...and i am tired or not enjoying it...i will always have a reason to 'leave' because of midnight...just like Cinderella...

I have more to say but it will take ages to write everything down...from the things i hate about the rules to the one i like...if there is even one...but i just want to say that is not all fun and party in uni life...inside campus anyway...but when you are outside and mix with that 'kind' of friends...your life will never be the same...haha...this 4 years is the time you do something big for yourself...after that you are ******

To Be a Better Person

1. Listen

The ability to really listen to another is a cornerstone of good friendship. It helps you to understand your friend and his/her feelings, as well as shows that you really care. Don't you feel good when you have someone to whom you can say it all when you are having hard time in your life? Well, do the same for the one you consider your friend.

2. Be honest

A huge blessing in having a good friend is in his/her ability to notice things you can't, or don't want to see, but which must be dealt with in order to solve problems. It is important to do it in a supportive and gentle way, so it would be received well. It might be the pain of something that happened in the past and a person is held back by it because he/she never dealt with it. Sometimes is just to hard to face pain alone, so be a friend who would point such things out and face it with the friend you care very much about. You might also notice when he/she has a negative, false belief about self, then point that out and contribute to the improvement of his/her self-esteem.

3.Spend quality time with your friend

No relationship can be satisfying without quality time spend together. Make time for your friend, schedule get togethers. Don't you fell good when someone invites you out for coffee, movie, or for family dinner at his/her home? Then initiate such occasions to meet, don't always wait for the other person to do that.

4. Be faithful and trustworthy

Unfaithfulness destroys many friendships, you might be surprised that I used this term in the context of friendship. But wouldn't you feel betrayed if someone whom you considered a friend started to share your personal matters with other people? For sure you would, and so would I. You expect from a friend to be faithful in keeping your secrets to himself/herself and never to use what they know about you against you. You also wouldn't want him/her to take advantage of you in any way in the name of friendship, so make it your own policy to keep other's secrets, never use their weaknesses against them during possible conflict, or abuse their willingness to help.

5. Be forgiving

There is not even one person in the world who is perfect. You know your own shortcomings, so don't expect perfection from others. I'm not saying that you should always accept a wrong doing on your friend's part, but you shouldn't make to big of a deal out of their less destructive flaws. Tell them when you didn't like something and be always ready to make up afterward. Don't hold grudges in your heart. It will help your friend to be long-suffering with you as well.

6. Admit your faults

In every friendship there will be conflict sooner or later. When it comes, often the wrong is on both sides. Ask yourself whether you did anything wrong to contribute to this, it didn't have to be anything that you said, or did on purpose. Admit your wrongs instead of just pointing out the wrongs of another person involved. This will help you both to keep the line of communication open and strengthen your friendship.

To sum it up, the best way to maintain friendship is to keep the golden rule, "Do to others, as you would like them do to you."

The Kiss Of The Violin

Have you ever wish you could play piano like Jay Chow? Violin like Vanessa Mae? Guitar like Eric Clapton?

Those who can play musical instruments are both talented and lucky...not everyone can have the luxury to enjoy and learn music...music is a very very expensive investment...many ppl can learn music...but not many are successful in that field...

Musician are just like any other person...like you and me...they can be among us without us realizing it...you will never know the person sitting beside you are a good singer, pianist without first he or she sings or plays...

All but one will give away...that is string...namely violin and viola...violin is more common so mostly is violinist...hehe...and what is the prove or the sign? well...the kiss of the violin...pianist and guitarist and drummer all can hide their musicianship except violinist...they are 'curse' with the kiss of the violin...is under their chin on the neck slightly on the left...a mark...black or dark...a symbol of prolong usage of violin...those who practice daily or frequently will have that mark...and it will stay there for quite a long time...only vanish after months of not practising the violin...

Violin is a wonderful instrument...just like a guitar...it can also be carried around and have a performance by the street just like that...the only thing about violin is that sometimes it can be quite annoying...when played out of tune...lolz...you wouldnt want that...unless you want to torture someone...use this method...they will surely surrender...keke
